Sometime referred to as a "barefoot pianist" because she does not wear shoes when she performs, Ott is an internationally acclaimed talented concert pianist.
She was born in Munich, Germany, in 1988. Her mother is a Japanese piano teacher. Her father is a German civil engineer.
In this interview, she talked about her decision to become a pianist happened at the age of three after being taken to a piano concert.
She also shared with the interviewer about her personal struggle growing up in two countries bridging two cultures. However on the world stages, she is confident, comfortable and brilliant. She is able to communicate and express herself through music. Before every concert, Ott plays with a Rubik's cube on the backstage to help relax her fingers and I believe her mind.
