The Windward side Open Houses plus Philippine Consulate

Aloha Everyone,

This morning J.J. and I accompanied Jeff to the Windward side (Northeast side) of island to view a couple of Brokers Open properties.

Some of the best beaches are located on the Windward side including Lanikai Beach and Kailua Beach. Tradewinds blow this coast line and it's a great place for surfing, swimming, and windsurfing.

Sorry no beach or surfing photos as I was dressed In my "Business Casual' today and didn't even get close to the beach.

When you drive on Pali Highway going East, The Philippine Consulate is hard to miss. It is housed in the Southern colonial building on a land approximately 46,000 square feet in size. The house was designed for aristocrats, when life was gracious, slow and pampered.

While J.J. had some documents notarized, I walked in front of the ground to take a photo of the statue of Dr. Jose Rizal, who is considered the greatest heroes of the Philippines. Dr. Rizal was a nationalist, novelist, poet, ophthalmologist, journalist, and revolutionary.

Aloha -- Cathi
