Congratulations to Tommy Caldwell, and Kevin Jorgeson!!!

Aloha Everyone,

Along with rest of the humanity, J.J. and I have been following the incredible feat, physical and mental strength of two climbers who just completed their monumental, historic 19-day ascent to the summit of El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. We have seen El Capitan quite up close and admired the granite cliff for its beauty and the 3,000-foot formation.

Tommy Caldwell, 36, and Kevin Jorgeson, 30, became the first to make it to the top of El Capitan. They scaled Dawn Wall which is considered the most challenging face of the rock.

The duo began their ascent 19 days ago using no bolts or climbing tools. They only used safety ropes in case of falls.

In the coming days, I look forward to reading about their personal stories of how they prepared themselves mentally, physically and if there were ever a moment of doubt in their amazing  quest.

CBS evening news appropriately said, "Legend was made today."

Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.

Permanence, perseverance and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragement and impossibilities: it is this, that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak.
