Aloha Everyone,
Superstition Spring Center, a rather peculiar name for a shopping mall is named after a range of mountains located in the east of Phoenix metropolitan area.
Only 6 1/2 miles from the RV park in the city of Mesa where we are staying, J.J. and I have been going to the shopping center to get our daily walk.
Macy's, Dillard's, JC Penny and Sears are the anchors tenants. There is a food court with the usual national franchised restaurants. We also checked their 8 screen cinema but decided to spend our time reading as the selection of films were not to our taste.
For today's lunch we found a free-standing Greek restaurant. They were in the process of changing the name from Big Fat Greek Food to Pita Kouzina.
Karl who seated us and also served our food assured us that the management and everything is the same. They however have a new modified menu but the quality remains unchanged.
J.J.'s choice of gyro and my grilled salmon dishes were excellent.
It's raining in California causing some inconveniences to residents. The sky is getting dark and threatening to rain but so far so good. I doubt we will be treated to another spectacular sunset this evening.
Aloha -- Cathi
