Sesame Seeds

Aloha Everyone,

My Mother attributes her extraordinary health to her eating habits and the food she consumes. First of all, she hardly eats out. She prefers to prepare her food at home with freshest ingredients often from her garden or from one of her friends' gardens. She purchases choicest meat and fish for her cooking. Her style of eating is grazing, eating small portions at a time several times a day. She also tries to eat 20 variety of food each day.

Sesame seed is one ingredients my Mother uses regularly. Considered one of the oldest condiments known, sesame seed has many health benefits.

A serving of Sesame seeds provides over 80 nutrients including copper, manganese, calcium, magnesium,  phosphorus, iron, zinc, etc.

Here is a short list of the benefits of sesame seeds:

- help protect colon cells from cancer-causing chemicals
- helps prevent the bone loss
- helps prevent migraine headaches
- helps lower cholesterol
