One of the highlights of our visit with our family in La Jolla was to watch our granddaughter participate in the annual La a Jolla Christmas Parade. The band teacher called for her students to arrive at noon at the designated place. However 3 hours had passed by the time the band started to march. The children sat on the ground and improvised games to keep themselves entertained while parents socialized.
Occasionally bi-planes flew over head to keep everyone amused.
The parade route was through downtown La Jolla lined with spectators and their canine companions that were just as entertaining to watch as the parade itself.
It was a long day for everyone but J.J. and I certainly had an enjoyable and memorable time.
