Del Amo Fashion Center is one of the largest shopping malls in the United States with a gross leasable area of 2.6 million. This two-levels mall is located on Hawthorne Blvd in the city of Torrance, CA. Since the last time J.J. and I were here several years ago, the food court has been modernized with a lot more green space and dining areas. Total number of retail stores is over 200. According to signs posted, there will be an additional 150 stores opening by the fall of 2015.
For a rainy day like today, it is a great destination to go for walking. J.J. and I entered at one end of the mall and walked around for a total of an hour window shopping and getting our exercises.

We also stopped by at a New Balance retail store. J.J. and I do not enjoy shopping. For us, we do not just "look around" but rather have a pretty clear idea on what we need to purchase.
The spacious New Balance store we walked in was nearly empty. Eddie immediately approached us to offer his assistance. I described what I was looking for and asked for my option on styles and pricing. I selected the first pair of shoes I tried. The total time we spent was less than 20 minutes.
