Since the start of our RV life, JJ and I have stayed in at least 30 different RV parks. We love some because of their location or amenities. Others are among our top bracket because of either owners or the managers we meet.
On rare occasions, we love the location, amenities and the people who are managing the place. Whenever that happens, we say "Yes, yes!" We definitely will be coming back again. Today we started our drive towards the Sequoia National Park. After stopping to get fuel for Honu and purchasing some provisions, J.J. and I found ourselves in a small city with no place to stay in mind. I searched using Google and found 3 possible places. The first RV park I telephoned, a lady's cheerful voice on the other end told me that this is the place we will spend the night.
Carol and Jerry manage the Country Manor RV Park and they are a very happy couple. When we mentioned about our plan to stay for a night and then enter Sequoia National Park the following day, Carol made copies of maps, direction to Sequoia and a copy of their own August newsletter.
When J.J. answered Jerry's knock on our door, he was given watermelon for our dessert. Now that is truly icing on the cake.
Here are some photos of Country Manor RV Park.
