Six National Camping Grounds in a Day

Aloha Everyone,

Today, J.J. and I had a very ambitious undertaking. After leaving our RV Park in Nephi, we headed back to the Manti-La Sal National Forest. While on a map, the camping grounds appear to be located within the same area, the roads to get there are gravel, dusty and with the recent rain, had lots of potholes. It is not a suitable road for Honu and for us to travel. Cushions in the back, my yoga mat, shoulder bag, J.J.'s camera case and computer bag all got shifted. It's like in airline flights' announcement, "Be careful when you open your overhead bin as contents may have shifted." Well ours certainly did. As soon as we opened our storage cabinets, things fell.

Most of the US Forest Service campgrounds are located near lakes and the individual sites are surrounded either by pine or aspen trees. Once you get to the location, the difficult journey is soon forgotten.  Enjoy the photos!

We chose Joe's Valley Camping Ground to spend the night.
