Aloha Everyone,
We walked into JC Mickelson's Restaurant expecting a decent dinner. It turned out to be "one-of-the kind" dining experience. Extensive train tracks ran above the dining areas with tunnels, bridges, trees, mountains and waterfalls.
When we expressed our interest in learning more about the train collector and how they came up with an idea to lay an extensive tracks that goes around the various sections of the restaurant, Rachel, the Service Manager came over to talk to us and provided us with a hand-out information on the trains.
The site of JC Mickelson is just off Exit 222 on I-15. We will be sure to let our good friend and an avid toy train collector, Hollis know.
We chose their special for the day, Hamburger Steak dinner. Served with excellent cup of cream of mushroom soup followed by the main course. We concluded our excellent dinner with their home-made apple pie.
If you are ever traveling on I-15 passing along the city of Nephi in Utah, don't forget to stop by to see the trains and for great food and wonderful service.
Aloha -- Cathi
